Windows Updates will provide you with the latest security and other important updates from Microsoft. By default, most updates are scheduled to be installed automatically, but you will need an internet connection. But if you choose manual updating, be sure to install Windows updates at least once per week.
To manually install Windows Updates, you can visit Microsoft’s Windows Update website which will automatically scan your computer to detect which updates are necessary for your computer and will list them accordingly. Read the summary for each update to determine which ones are necessary for your Windows installation. You don’t always need to install all of them, although the Critical Updates should always be installed.
